Dr. C. Keith Harrison, Ed.D
Founder, President, and Chief Executive Officer
Dr. C. Keith Harrison is founder and director of the Paul Robeson Research Center for Academic and Athletic Prowess. Dr. Harrison is a former football player who earned scholar athlete honors at West Texas A&M University. Dr. Harrison earned his doctorate in higher and post-secondary education at University of Southern California, and continues to teach and research in the area of intercollegiate athletics. Dr. Harrison is currently the Associate Director for the DeVos Sport Business Management Program as well as the Institute for Diversity and Ethics in Sport at the University of Central Florida in Orlando. Dr. Harrison created the term Scholar-Baller® in 1995.

Cliff Parks earned his B.A. in Psychology for Louisiana Tech University while participating as a standout receiver on the football team. He continued his educational endeavors completing his M.S., PPS degree and certificate in Counseling in 2003 at La Verne University. Mr. Parks is special projects counselor for the Long Beach Unified School District and is an expert in urban education and athletic identity issues that most impact inner-city youth

Jean Boyd co-founded Scholar Baller® with Dr. Harrison and Cliff Parks. Mr. Boyd attended Arizona State University (ASU) where he obtained his B.A. in History and M.A. in Higher & Post Secondary Education. Today he is currently an Associate Athletic Director for Student-Athlete Development at ASU in which he works on a daily basis with football student-athletes to help them develop critical academic and life skills. Mr. Boyd has personal experience as a student-athlete at a Division I college and spent time in the NFL as well as NFL Europe.
Scott Bukstein, J.D.
Director of Operations
Scott Bukstein has been a member of the Scholar Baller® Team since 2002. He is currently a faculty member at the University of Central Florida, where he teaches sport business and sport law classes and is the Program Coordinator of the Undergraduate Sport Business Management Program at UCF
